Bitsy and Martina - tears before tea time

Forget all the rubbish about celebrating ancient Celt traditions, 31st October has a really big event.

Yes its the North London derby between a football team with a rich history Arsenal and their largely unknown North London neighbours Spurs. My team the glorious Gunners (Arsenal) and Bitsy's ragamuffins Spurs (The Tootingham Hot Cocks) will be battling it out at lunch time.

Will Bitsy let William play with the red tractor I gave him when we met, or maybe Bitsy has made Claire paint it white?

Bitsy get you best dungarees on and may the best team win
Jimbits76

I predict a mighty thrashing...

That's enough about me beating you with a kipper for saying we are unknown and have no history (that's all we have).

For the match I predict 3-1 Arse!

Then again I always think you're gonna really do us in the Deathstar!

Hopefully it'll be a good match but with Lennon and Defoe out and Bentley and three metre Peter in, I think it might be a little one sided.

Love it if we win, happy if he draw, ain't too bothered if we lose.

I will be affixed to Sopcast from 12 onwards trying desperately to find a decent stream!

COYS.

I think it will be a great game, the passing and movement of Arsenal though is out of this world, best Ive seen, might be a bit too much for Spurs.
Carolina

Tottingham Hot Cocks? I'm not even going to go there!

the only trouble is that they often stand admiring all the pretty patterns and not getting on with the job as was the case against West Ham and also against Spurs last year.
Jimbits76

Pah...they lost their bottle against us.

Okay, seriously, they thought they had it sewn up...VP and Adbythelaw were so smug that it was such a joy when Lennon scored that equaliser.

Last year's game at the emptycrates was such a belter, tomorrow is gonna feel like such a deflated old sheeps bladder in comparison...unless we stuff ya!

I thought it would be 0 - 0, very close game then great strike by VP & a Fab Fab goal. Still not counting chickens as we were 2 - 0 last week and threw it away
Jimbits76

We aint got a hope.

Feel the tv coverage is making a bit much out of Fab's goal...it was a great goal sure but we were still a bit dumbstruck from the pace of VP's strike!

Can't see us getting anything today...three meter Peter is hopeless, we should put Pav on!

J
daveathall

Never mind Jim, I would love to be saying , "cant see us getting anything out of this Premiership game," 40 minutes to go until the big one at home to Yeovil Town, for some reason doesnt have the same ring to it.

Jimbits76

Dave

We did alright for 40 mins...since the two goals from the goons, we've been hammered.

What makes it worse is "Big Four" TV's coverage...the way they talk about Arsenal and the other clubs at the top (including that shower of **** Liverpool) is that they shoudl win every game they play against a team that isn't in the top 4.

Dismal day....I am in a foul mood now!

Well its looks like you are going to have to settle with another Milk Cup run. How Eduardo did not add another 2 only he knows. Great to see Keane showing us how strong your bench was   Great weekend coming up

The great Bolton Wanderers were once again magnificent in defeat.

I'm with you Jim.

Leeds 4 Yeovil 0 a good set of results around us as well.

Wow with these new Mod powers I can ban members or edit posts as I see fit...

In all fairness I thought we were looking at a 3-1 defeat since Harry and old Pointy Shouty opened their mouths...nice one, do your talking on the park morons!!!!

I doubt many Tottenham fans honestly thought we'd go to the Emptycrates and get a result but then I doubt that many fans thought they'd just collapse like a poorly prepared souffle once Arsenal got their first.

We played alright for the first 42 minutes...Arsenal looked a bit shaky and we soaked up the pressure.

Once Van Persie scored his first (Top four tv saying it was Gomes' fault!?!...how can you save it when you don't have time to see it?) we just flapped about like overpaid fairies.

Awful...Arsenal deserved to win but the continual Sky promotion of the "big 4" and that they are in a laegue of their own just sickens me...I'm glad Fulham thumped Liverpool...it's left a spark of hope.

ahh ancient history something you Lilywhites specialise in    Two of the links seem to have been disabled, has your magic wand backfired
Jimbits76

Ancient history? Nah we just don't harp on and on about things like you goon types and the rest of your plastic, prawn sandwich support.

Then again, I suppose after years of supporting a team that played some of the most boring, suffocating football the league has seen, it must be nice to see a bit of flair and flourish from the Woolich lot.
