A random smattering

The reason I went to the mountains this last weekend was because the prior weekend I was driving through and stopped off for a few minutes at an overlook and caught this Red-tailed Hawk. Must have been a fluke.  



I just kind of liked this Vulture silhouette.



I thought this Sparrow looked nice in this setting. I wish I was a little closer but that rarely seems to be the case.



I don't think these Grackle's get much respect but they really are quite pretty when the sun hits them and brings out their colours.



A juvenile Red-breasted Merganser.



I think I warned you at one point to be prepared for quantity over quality.
