A common kingfisher


There are three of these kind at the backwaters in south of khobar. Just opposite to the lulu mall.

Nice one Rahil.  I'd say this is a female by the red on the lower part of the bill.

Is this on the lake near to the housing complex?  That's where I've seen them before.

yes the same place. Its our hangout on thursdays fro 7:30am onwards. shrikes, graceful prinia, kingfisher and black masked shrike are seen during this time.
