Any idea why this watch is so expensive?

But, that Omega is one of the way over priced Tourbillion models out there. All of them are stratospheric in price.

This particular model is a Limited Edition, and Platinum too.

List in the US is $325,000.00....

well the limited edition and platinum kinda explain why it's so expensive. thanks for the info...

do you think the price mirrors the quality in this case?

I don't think that the price represents any quality standard at all. I believe that Omega has a high quality standard and this one may have more attention given seeing as it is quite valuable, and tracked better than the average Seamaster might be.

I think that it is entirely about the exclusivity of the model.. and what Omega thinks the market will bear.... And, even if they don't ever sell any, the marketing of a high-end piece like this will be it's primary job.
