I have a macbook [not pro] 1st generation intel,my issue! images displayed on my camera monitor at max magnification, which apparently is of a lower resolution, are TACK SHARP!! when i load them to view on my laptop i loose all the really fine detailing I'm obviously missing something are my images not as i thought or an issue with my laptop spec

Matching the "display profile" in display preferences display there are loads of options including now several nikon specific options

WOW!!!!! guess it wont make any difference your end but just changed my colour display to sRGB in the profile boy does my screen pop now!!!! not sure if this was my issue but my display has never looked so bright and vibrant!!

I guess you cracked it Steve. I was trying to reply at work but our connection there is very bad. Now you have the camera and screen at the same colour profile everything should be great.
I do find a slight difference when an LCD screen has a matte finish and when it has a gloss finish. My Windows notebook is gloss and pictures always look better on it. I suppose it's like printing on gloss or matte paper.  _________________ I'd feel lost without my GPS |
