I went out this evening with a friend to check out some flooded land nearby. There were quite a lot of waders on the water and I managed these two shots before the light went.

that the late bird gets the worm....just like the early bird..

(fantastic shots....love the full reflection on the second wader and the intense expression)

These guys are constantly prodding under the water for anything they can find for food. The little stint goes at it like a jack hammer and was too fast for me to stop the action in the evening sun.  |
