A few weeks ago I bought this vintage beauty from a TZ guy named Doug.
I saw this raw diamond and I fell in love with it...
He shipped it directly to my friend and watchmaker Freddy.
This Connie had a tuff life as you can see in the pictures...
Even the crystal took some heavy beating..
First he took the watch apart and cleaned everything
This part was broken..
So he fixed it
The movement after cleaning
Rotor installed
The dial side with the date wheel..
And the finishing touch
And here she is......my latest....
Needless to say, I am in heaven... _________________

Great job on a great watch..
If some of these early time-pieces could only tell us their story....
Why not show us the entire box full....

Very nice! Your watchmaker seems to know what he's doing.
There's a lot of self-proclaimed watchmakers nowadays that wouldn't be able to succesfully replace that balance staff!
