Did you ever find a watch that you just couldn't get off your mind (other than a Rolex)?

I discovered this Ebel at my AD and it just reached out and grabbed me.  I can't explain why other than it's different.  The dial is very clean looking and it has a deployment clasp, which is also appealing.  It's a 45mm which I consider too big for my wrist but I'm tempted to make an exception.  It seems like most of the watches are getting bigger so I guess I'd fit in.  The AD even offered a 20% discount which makes it more inviting.  I can imagine someone asking the time and I would just hold out my wrist.

I'd probably be wearing it today if not for an estimate from our electrician for some pending work this month.  Hmmm, I wonder if I can convince the wife to postpone the electrical work...NOT.

It looks both nice and different John, good luck with the purchase.

Now about the electrical work, I could give you a good price but you would have to add airfares and accommodation.

Looks good..

I love the band where the ends are tucked up against the case....looks good.

As for electrical work....just buy her a couple of new extension cords.....You got to have your priorities right...

I would guess your price, including the airfare and accommodations, to be pretty close to his estimate!

Come to think of it, I just might go over to the rant column!

I like your thinking Larry.  However, after living with her all these years my imagination just runs wild with what she might do with those extension cords.

We'll watch out for the whip marks.
